Weekly News - 10 February 2012

Several pupils from Wallace High School competed at the Stirling Schools Cross Country Championships on Thursday 9th February. There were some fabulous performances, including a first place finish for Mathew Crawford in the S1/2 boys’ race and many pupils qualifying for the Forth Valley Championships.

On Friday 10th February, Wallace High School welcomed Bridge of Allan Primary School for the final heat of the K’Nex Challenge. With six places already secured, Mr Schulberg’s Primary 7 class were competing for the last available slot; the final will be held in April where all finalists will return to Wallace High School. The winners were Thomas, Euan, Jamie and Lewis with their impressive low impact vehicle design. Competition was stiff and all the pupils involved worked superbly well and created some fantastic designs.
