OCHIL HOUSE

Ochil House within Wallace High School caters for young people S1-S6 with severe and complex additional support needs.

The curriculum is designed to meet the learning needs of each individual pupil and is based on a multi-sensory approach and underpinned by the values and principles of a Curriculum for Excellence. A range of teaching and learning experiences are employed supported by specialist teaching staff and external agencies:

  • Speech and Language Therapist
  • Music Therapist
  • Physiotherapist
  • Occupational Health Therapist
  • Specialist Nurses and Educational Psychologists

Ochil House staff make excellent use of all of the available school facilities and promote an inclusive approach.

Additionally pupils from Ochil House benefit from regular educational excursions such as organised trips or exploring the local community.

Pupils are well supported to participate in a range of activities including sporting events and expressive arts projects.
