Bringing a Class to the LRC

The LRC has a timetable for class use and this is displayed at the LRC issue desk. Teachers are welcome to book classes for single periods or for longer blocks of time. No form filling required, just contact us by phone, e-mail, paper or come and ask. Advance notice is always appreciated; we can organise the relevant resources for your class. Please check availability before sending pupils and classes to the Learning Resource Centre.

Computing Suite

The LRC has a suite of 20 computers all linked to a printer and with access to the internet and e-mail. The Computing Suite can be booked for single periods or longer blocks of time by teachers who wish to bring classes.

What Do We Do?

  • We obtain and organise resources in the LRC so that they can be easily found by staff and pupils when they need them.
  • We promote reading for enjoyment among staff and pupils, by having the best possible collection of fiction books.
  • We support learning by having the most up-to-date collection of information resources.
